October Half Term Fun at Knowle Park

22/10/2024 Posted by Knowle Park

Autumn is here, and we’re gearing up for a fun-filled half term at Knowle Park with a range of exciting activities for all ages!

Whether you’re a puzzle lover, a keen runner, or just looking for some Halloween fun, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Here’s what’s happening in the park this half term:

Mouse’s Haunted House Puzzle Trail

Get ready for a spooky adventure with Paradox Parlours as they bring Mouse’s Haunted House Puzzle Trail to the park. This interactive trail is perfect for children and adults alike, offering a fun and slightly spooky challenge.

It’s taking place on Saturday 26th & Thursday 31st October, Friday 1st & Saturday 2nd November.

If you’re up for the challenge, don’t forget to book your tickets in advance at Paradox Parlours!

Cranleigh parkrun

Kicking off the weekend, the Cranleigh parkrun takes place on Saturday morning, welcoming runners and walkers of all abilities. It’s a fantastic opportunity to enjoy a free, fun 5km around the park.

Register online at Cranleigh parkrun and don’t forget to bring your barcode!

Cranleigh junior parkrun is hosting a special Halloween edition on Sunday morning. Dress up in your spookiest costume for this free 2km run, designed especially for younger runners. Register in advance at Cranleigh junior parkrun.

The KP Sessions – Live Music

After a morning of running, why not unwind with some live music?

The KP Sessions return on Sunday afternoon at 1.30pm with a performance by the talented Will Jones. Bring a chair, settle in, and enjoy the sounds of autumn in the park.

The Great Pumpkin Hunt

Running from Saturday 26th October to Sunday 3rd November, The Great Pumpkin Hunt is a free, family-friendly Halloween trail.

Pick up your trail map from Heartwork Coffee or Moooh! Ice Cream (9am–4pm), find the ten hidden pumpkin symbols around the park, and return your map to the kiosk for a small prize. It’s the perfect way to enjoy a walk in the park and get into the Halloween spirit!

Wild Tots Pumpkin Parties

For the little ones, we’re hosting special Wild Tots Pumpkin Parties on Monday 28th October. The 10am session is already fully booked, but there are still a few places left for the 2pm session.

These parties are designed for under-5s, offering autumnal fun and nature-based crafts. Book your spot now at Wild Tots.

New Hot Food Offer from Heartwork Coffee

To keep you warm during your park adventures, Heartwork Coffee is launching a brand-new hot food offer this half term. From Saturday 26th October, they’ll be serving delicious soup and a roll during lunchtime on weekends. It’s the perfect hearty meal to enjoy as the weather gets cooler, so be sure to stop by!

Halloween Photo Frame

And don’t forget to check out our new Knowle Park photo frame, decorated with Halloween and autumn themes. It’s a great spot to take photos with your friends and family.

Snap a pic, share it on social media, and don’t forget to tag us – we’d love to see your spooky snaps!

With so much happening, there’s no better place to be this half term than Knowle Park. We look forward to seeing you there! 🎃👻
