The trustees were disappointed to discover piles of litter (including broken glass) and a vandalised oak tree at the bottom of the hill this evening.
A group of 20 people gathered there were asked to leave, as this is currently private land.
We won’t tolerate littering or vandalism in the park, and we will take further action as required to resolve this problem.
You are likely to spot more regular patrols being carried out by our trustees in the coming weeks, as we try our hardest to stay on top of the litter issues and deter further vandalism.
