In case you see some people walking around Knowle Park carrying strange-looking mini-rugby posts…starting today and scheduled for the next fortnight, we’ve commissioned a geophysical survey as part of the archaeological requirements of our planning consents.
The team will be marking out grids before surveying them with ground-based physical sensing techniques to produce a detailed image of the park.
These methods are neither invasive nor destructive but will help us create an accurate picture of anything interesting that’s underneath the ground before work begins in the park in the coming months.
