It was fantastic to see the return of Cranleigh junior parkrun in Knowle Park this morning, with 57 4 to 10-year-olds completing the course.
Both Cranleigh parkrun and Cranleigh junior parkrun were forced to stop their events last March at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The return of Cranleigh junior parkrun this morning, following strict safety protocol, will be followed at the start of June by the return of Cranleigh parkrun.
These parkrun events are a wonderful use of Knowle Park and we love seeing all of the runners, volunteers and spectators taking part.
At the start of each run (9 am on a Saturday morning and 9 am on a Sunday morning), participants are briefed by a Run Director and asked to take care of other park users.
Please be aware that these events are taking place; dog walkers may wish to visit the park earlier and later in the day accordingly.
We do ask that all dogs are kept on a lead, in all parts of the park, for the duration of both events.
